  • We groomed the west ladybird trail network to about 25KM, Main fork appears in good condition and will be hit next week depending on snow/current weather conditions. 

Parking Lot update:  Current snow line is top of the hill from the parking lot, BUT its shear ice for the first 2 KM's.  We have bladed all loose snow off the trail up to the Ladybird swimming hole and if you have good winter tires and/or chains you could get there, otherwise parking lot use is still ok.  The use of any trailers on the trail past the parking lot is not recommended.

Watch Out:  With the current atmospheric whether system that just rolled thru there will be a ton of flowing water under the snowpack and the Avy forecast isn't favorable, know where you are and understand the conditions, ride safe this weekend,  Also keep in mind operations on Goose Creek have ceased, and remember there are multiple natural snow bridge water crossings that could pose hidden hazards under the surface.

  • Ladybird to 19K fork cat turnaround
  • Goose Creek, we have moved our BR350 from the bluffs up to the airport, and then all the way down to the ladybird parking lot via our shortcut into the cut blocks and fully groomed those trails to connect the 2 sides.

UPDATE: 
  • Goose Creek grooming has ended for the 2025-2026 season
  • Ladybird, parking in the lot as normal

  • Ladybird - Parking Lot to 19K turnaround
  • Goose Creek - Frosty's, Shaw, Airport - (Planned trip for March 6th)

Parking Lot updates
  • Ladybird - Parking in the lot as normal, snow line starts at the trail head
  • Goose Creek - Parking is at the snow line which starts around 2.5k-3k.  Our snow cat is parked on the trail just below the bluffs.

WARNING, watch for the changing temperatures this weekend as it appears Saturday the freezing level is forecasted to shoot up to 2500m.  Know where your riding, avalanche conditions, and have a plan.

  • Ladybird - Up to 19K and back
  • Goose Creek - Temporarily paused this week wait for better conditions and its currently holding up great for the use it's seeing.

PARKING LOT UPDATE:
Ladybird - No issues, Main lot in use, Normal ops
Goose Creek - bottom 2 KM of trail has melted off mostly; it would be advised to drive up to the snow line which starts at the switch backs at 2KM.  The snow cat is parked near 3KM.  Good winter tires or chains is recommended, and the use of trailers is not a good idea.  Single place smaller type trailers could be ok but larger ones we suggest using the Ladybird Lot.

Parking Lot Update:
  • Ladybird - Normal Ops
  • Goose Creek - ***Parking lot is normal operation; there is sufficient snow from the bottom now.  See how next week's weather turns out.  With current forecast it is possible by next weekend we will be chasing the snow line again.
