Hello CSA Our favorite time of the year is approaching, so we thought it was time to fill you in on a few things. First off there is the logging taking place up on the LadyBird FSR . If you are planning on heading that direction you must have a radio with channel RR6 on it so that you can keep track of where the logging trucks are. There are many trucks hauling logs on that road during the weekdays and you may even see them on the odd weekend. The road is graded past the 11 Km Norns Creek turn off, so we will not be grooming there until they have pulled out of the area. We have been informed they are hoping to be out sometime in December but that may change depending on how things go. On the Goose Creek side of things we are just waiting for some more snow so that we can start getting the trails ready. Hoping to be up within the next couple of weeks. As many of you know the Cooley Lake Trail will not be groomed this season due to the bridge failing it’s inspection this summer. Please consider buying your memberships and trail passes online as this is just another way to keep everyone safe during Covid. As Covid may change how we are able to man our parking lots we really need your help in getting everyone signed up. This is your club help it survive through these strange times. The CSA will follow all recommendations from the government so that we can keep the back country open to everyone. Consider staying out of cabins unless you really need a warm up shelter. The more we can curve the spread of Covid the longer we keep riding this season. Thankyou and have a great season. Comments are closed.
