Riding Areas & Trails

Picture
Groomed trails are accessed by two main staging areas comprising of, Goose Creek and Ladybird forest service roads.

Goose Creek is generally considered more family oriented with a groomed trail taking you right to the alpine. Parking on Goose Creek consists of two lots, the lower lot which is smaller and a much larger lot located just up around the corner. The smaller lot is usually left for those hauling trailers so they don’t have to contend with the hill on slippery days.

Ladybird is considered a much more advanced riding area. Avalanche training and all the gear is highly recommended. Parking consists of a fairly large lot located three kilometers up Ladybird forest service road.

Both riding areas have warm up cabins supplied with firewood and a barbecue to cook up lunch and just take a break out of the cold.

Never Lost Snowmobile GPS App allows the user to view trail systems for easy use with smart phones. While in zero service areas the GPS location of the device is overlaid onto the trail system map for that area. This enables the user to ALWAYS know which direction is out and where a few main things are such as cabin's, staging areas, and general area names. Over time more and more details will be added such as km markers on the main trails for a distance reference ability. In addition we have added Caribou closure areas for easy reference.
