The Frost family donated Frosty's cabin to the CSA in 2017 and it's a great place for a getaway in the mountains. The CSA maintains 3 cabins within it's riding areas, but Frosty's is the only one available for booking overnight stays.
The cabin has four bunks to accommodate four people and is available to rent for $60 per night. Choose your dates carefully as once booking is complete there can be no date changes or refunds. If you are not a member of the Castlegar Snowmobile Association you must buy a trail pass for each sled and each day of your stay. Keep in mind this is still considered a club warm up shelter. PLEASE NOTE: We ask that guests refrain from burning candles or using any source of open fire in the cabins. AND ... There is NO SMOKING in any of the cabins **** Check out time is 11:00 AM **** |
You'll find a barbeque, propane, and firewood for the stove are all supplied. UPDATE, February 2025 a generator a been added for convenience for booked renters for overnight stays. Please contact anyone of our executives for the weeky lock combo to access the box. Renters will need to supply your own fuel. Do not operate the generator in the box, it is for storage only.
Pack out all that you pack in and do not leave food in the cabins. There is no housekeeping here and all 3 cabins are maintained by hard working unpaid volunteers. Please remember this and leave the place as you would like it left for you.

Once at the Goose Creek parking lot, you'll head up the main trail until the 5km marker and then take the left trail heading to the Shaw club cabin. Continue until just after the 9km marker and then take the right fork and follow the trail for about 1.5 km.
