Trail groomed to 19km cat turn on Norns Creek. All went well with another five trees cleared off trial. Good snow started at 10km marker.

Trail Groomed to the Shaw Cabin with the drag and airport with the blade. All went well with temps dropping for a good groom. We probed 270cm again at the top with about 30cm since our last trip. After about the 2k mark the snow just got better all the way to the up with nice powder up top. Enjoy your weekend and be sure to checkout the avy report.

​Ladybird trail groomed to the 19km cat turnaround on Norns Creek. With rain and heavy snow all the way up to the  cat turn, a very tough trip with twelve downed trees needing removal off the trail.

Trail groomed to the Shaw Cabin with the drag then track packed to the airport and Frosty Cabin.  With a mix of freezing mist, rain and snow we had our share of trouble dealing with snow conditions. Please be aware the trail is not perfect, even after grooming as the snow does not move well out of the drag or off the blade. As seen in the pic below the snow at the Cabin was still very sticky. 
At the top we probed 270cms and 35cms of fresh snow since our last groom. With a heavy mist in the air we had  a 1/4 inch delicate crust on top of good snow. 

Be sure to check avy conditions and be safe out there. 

Just a heads up we are planning a family day event up at the Shaw ccabin again this year Feb 15 th save the date.

Goose Creek to the Airport and the Frosty cabin with the compactor bar. There was 60 cms since our last groom and our base is at 280 cm.

      After a very busy weekend on the trails and over 50cms of fresh snow the BR 180 was out to try to get our trail base back in order. It was decided to leave the drag and go with the compactor bar and blade. With lots of fresh we were anticipating rebuilding the trail from the reports we had recieved.  All went well as the cat was able to push right into the airport meadow. There was 270 centimeters of base up at the airport and 60 centimeters of fresh since our last groom on Friday.

Our  275 was also  out to pack the Lady Bird Trail after a big weekend of fresh snow. All went well other than several trees down needing to be cut off the trail.

Groomed to the airport today all went well 20cms of fresh up top and a base of 235cms.
