![]() Goose Creek Trail January 28, 2021 -Frosty Trail and the Airport Trail groomed with the drag in tow. -The frozen trail held up great since our last groom, so last nights groom was more of a packing trip before to many sleds got on the fresh snow. -We dropped off propane and a good jag of wood for the Frosty Cabin and picked up the old barbecue from the Shaw Cabin -Probed 38 cm of fresh up top and a base of 215cm Ladybird Trail January 28, 2021 All went well up to 14 km on the Norns Creek when a pin on the tiller decided it was time to remove itself from operation. Operators managed to get the tiller up in the air and get it back down to the staging area where it can be repaired. Tip of the week: as more and more sleds seem to be out there, one way we can help our trails last longer is to use the whole trail many times 10 or more snowmobiles look like a trail of one or two sleds. Keep right at all times of course but nothing wrong with packing fresh snow on the whole trail. Thankyou Be sure to check the avalanche report, be safe out there and have a good weekend. ![]() Lady Bird Trail January 20th 2021 -East Lady Bird Trail groomed to 20 km -West Lady Bird Trail groomed to 18 km -With the Norns Creek Trail holding up nicely and the recent windstorm it was decided to push into the Cayuse direction this week. -Many stops along the way for tree and brush clearing Goose Creek Trail January 21st 2021 -Airport Trail and Frosty Trail groomed with the Br-180 and the drag -New barbeque and firewood dropped off at the Shaw cabin -8 cm of fresh since our last groom and the base has settled down to 200 cm at the airport Another big shout out to She Shreds Mountain Adventures for helping out the cause with the $300 donation in diesel fuel as well as the great early bird prizes thanks again Just a couple things that would help us all out -When using the lower parking lot on Goose please try to ride the side of the road up to the trail head, that way you leave the sand on the hill for the trucks. -If you notice branches falling or leaning onto the trail please try to move them off if they are not too large.
