![]() Ladybird Trail April 10th 2019 Grooming has ended for this season. The trail was inspected by snowmobile and it was decided with its very thin base for the first 8 km that it would be best to not groom as the cat would tear up the ice base with its grousers. Still unloading in the parking lot on Ladybird with just a small dirt patch at 5 km. The trail is in great shape with 10 cm of wet heavy spring snow at the 19 km cat turnaround. Signage will be removed next week by sled. Thank you to all of you who supported the club though out this season with the many volunteer jobs associated with keeping the arrow flying straight. We would also like to thank all of you that may have not been able to volunteer but purchased memberships and trail passes to help keep this passion alive and well. We will sending out mass emails to members about any summer projects that will need attention like trial brushing and finishing up our cat storage facility. Still riding be safe and have a great summer. ![]() Ladybird Trail April 3rd 2019 Ladybird trail groomed to 19 km on Norns Creek all went well with no dirt from the parking lot up. Its was snowing at the 12 k bluffs with 7 cm of fresh at the end of the trail. Tip of the week- As spring runoff is here if you notice areas of the road washing out, stop and see what you can do to help divert water back into ditches thank-you. Enjoy your weekend and be safe out there. |
