Ladybird Trail April 19th 2018 Last one for the season. Groomed to 19 km cat turnaround all went well. There was 34 cm of fresh at 19 km but was starting to settle with the sun on it. Please use caution on bridges as the overhangs will soon be letting loose. Keep in the center to stay safe on the bridges. Still unloading in the parking lot and no dirt from there on up. The trip went well till the groomer got back down and two trucks had blocked access to the lot by unloading onto the snow. Please if you unload there move your trucks after so operators can get the cat off the trail, as its almost 16 ft wide it takes up most of the roadway. Goose Creek Grooming on Goose ended a couple weeks ago, unloading was up around 1 km a couple days ago. Thanks to everyone for the help throughout the season with the grooming and all the others things that keep the train moving down the track. We will be keeping you all posted on club happenings with the the web page so pop by and check it out even if you have put the sled to bed for the summer. We are right in the middle of grant application time trying to get the funding to help build our maintenance\storage facility, cross your fingers as we really need this. Be safe out there, and check out the avalanche report before heading out. Cheers! Comments are closed.
