Goose Creek Trail April 6th, 2021 With the lower section of trail melting off quick, we decided to move the cat up and do one last groom for the season. At the airport we probed 235 cm of base and a few centimetres of fresh since our last trip. Two dry danger trees cut down and hauled for firewood at the Shaw cabin. Use caution on the trail at lower elevations, as we are now seeing areas starting to open on the sides where culverts and creek ditches are. Unloading now up around 3 km but not much area to turn around. The cat is now parked at 3.5 km and will be used to collect signage and do firewood at the Frosty cabin. Another big shout out to Cims Rossland Division for helping out with fuel for our last couple grooms of the season, Thank you Lady Bird Trail April 7, 2021 Trail is in good shape. Use caution as grooming has ended for the season several areas opening up on the side of the trail. Thanks everyone who helped out this year with every thing that goes into keeping the club moving forward. The importance of our club becomes very apparent in times like these. Be safe out there and see you next year. Comments are closed.
