Goose Creek Trail December 23, 2019 With a drop in temperatures and repairs to the 180 complete, we decided to try and get on Goose Creek to get the trail into shape for the holiday break. We had expected the trail to be pretty beat up with the heavy rains at the lower elevations and it was. We managed to pull the mogul master drag up to the 14 Km hill behind the cabin but were unable to pull the hill. All went well but was a very slow trip due to the frozen conditions. We probed 178 cm up at the top of the airport with 27 cm of fresh snow on top of the cat trail since Fridays groom. Still pretty good conditions for unloading at the parking lot but use caution as the snow is very thin for the first couple kilometres. . Our new shop being put to good use, with repairs to one of our plow trucks and the Br 180 snowcat. Thanks to all our supporters and volunteers who helped with this. Still more work to do but super nice to be dry when its pouring outside. Remember to sign up soon as early bird memberships end December 31st. Memberships available a Bubblees Liquor Store, Playmor Power Products and online. Stay safe out there check the avy report and have a great holiday break from the CSA Comments are closed.
