Goose Creek With cooler temps and just 15 cm of fresh on the trail we decided it would be a good day to hit the Cooley Lake trail with the drag. We were happy to get an early start on the trail as there were several trees that had to be removed between 5 km and the Lake. The airport trail was also groomed with the drag and some wood was dropped off at the cabin. The generator was brought down as the pull cord was broken and needed repair. We will get it up next groom unless someone wants to take it up by sled sooner. Probed 270 cm at the airport and 15 cm of fresh up top. Feb 16th 2018 Ladybird trail With the main trail holding up great it was decided to have the Br 275 head up straight past 11 km to 23 km on Ladybird. Be cautious as there was a slide around 16 km. Be sure to be aware of your surroundings when stopping for a break. Welcome Steph Pigeon back onto the grooming team to lend a hand with this busy season. A big Thank you to Chris at Dirty Diggers for the use of the backhoe he lent us to push out all three club parking areas. Ride safe and check out the avalanche report. Comments are closed.
