![]() Goose Creek Trail February 18th 2021 With excellent trail temperatures and very little fresh snow this past week the trail held up very well. Airport Trail groomed with the drag in tow to the top. Probed 250 cm of base and 18 cm of fresh since our last groom. Again this week a big thanks goes out to Teresa Stewart for a donation of $500 to the Castlegar Snowmobile Association CIBC Mobile Mortgage Advisor | Mobile Advice | Cell: 250-231-1709 [email protected] Tip of the week- first tracks on a trail with a few cm of fresh snow on it. The first sled tracks after a snowfall can play a key role in how well a trail holds up. The tendency of most snowmobile riders is to follow a trail set by the sleds ahead of them. Packing all of your lane will help set the tone for others to move off that single trail that starts a whooped out section. Have a good weekend and be sure to check the avy report before heading into the back country. Comments are closed.
