Grooming Report Feb 24th 2021

Goose Creek Trail February 23, 2021 

Goose Creek Trail groomed to the airport with the drag and the Frosty Trail track packed. Firewood and propane dropped off at the Frosty cabin. 

 At the top we probed 265 cm of base and 20 cm of fresh snow in the past few days. Good snow at around the 6 km mark. There has been some good wind up top so play it safe on the steeper areas that may be wind loaded. 

 Spring like conditions for the first 3 km of trail  so use caution as there are some very icy sections and areas that are starting to thin out. 

 Tip of the week -be sure to run scratchers when there is no powder even if your sled isn’t getting hot as it will save your track slides.
