Ladybird trail groomed to the 19 km cat turnaround on Norns Creek. Probed 185 cm with 10 cm of fresh on the trail.
Goose Creek Trail Feb 7th 2019
On Goose, the trail was super hard to work for the first couple km as it was frozen solid, then things changed for the better. Probably one of the best trips this season as no sledders out for evening rides and the cold -11 c up top should help to keep the trail in good shape. We probed 195 cm and also had 10 cm of fresh since last weeks groom . It was snowing lightly while we were up top. With the perfect snow conditions for grooming, the trip to the airport was quick so we decided to head to Cooley with the drag to get that trail into shape for next weeks family day event. Be sure to check Avy report bulletins and have a good weekend.
Tip of the Week : Keep skin covered when its this cold and tell your buddy if you notice any thing that looks like freezing skin. Usually turns red then white patches will appear.
Could not keep the retiree off of the toboggan hill sorry kids.
