Grooming Report March 23rd 2018

Ladybird Trail 
March 22 2018
Ladybird trail groomed to 19 km cat turnaround. A slide came down just around the bluffs at 13 km and had to be cleared from the trail. With the warmer temps and rain things will start to change quickly unless it gets cold again. At the cat turnaround there was only 3 cm of fresh since last week. Unloading at the parking lot and snow from there on up. 

Goose Creek Trail
March 22 2018 
The Goose Creek Trail is still holding snow on most of the trail other than the 2 km corner that always opens up first, the days of dirt patches are coming  soon. The sides of the trails will tend to be soft at this time of year so best to stick where the groomer goes as it will usually stand up the best. Please if you see any hazards up there please mark them or email us so we can deal with them. 
We had rain to the Frosty cabin and lite snow at the Shaw cabin. At the top there was 15 cm of fresh in the past week and the base is still at 300 cm. The fresh was compact powder but it was still snowing when we were turning around at the top. Check the Avalanche report and have a great weekend.
