Trails Groomed:
Parking Lot Update: Goose Creek, Parking starts at the snow line which is just below the bluffs at 2.5km. We have plowed out the corners from there and above and the flat spot above the bluffs and if you go up about .5k past there we have plowed out an old logging branch road that fits about 4-6 trucks depending on how you park. Ladybird, the lot is getting thin, but the snow line starts at the trail head/parking lot. Please park responsible as we anticipate this weekend is going to be busy. Follow signage and park on the perimeter first and work into the center lane after the outside is full. Keep trailers near the opening into the lot and facing down hill for best fitment. Thank you and have a great weekend, it appears snow is in the forecast. Trails Groomed:

Weather: our region as forecasted was hit with the alpine inversion, warm weather to the top this weekend. It is forecasted by mid weekend to see some fresh snowflakes in the alpine. Ride safe, This week we have the following plans in place:
Trails Groomed: Ladybird (January 30th PM)
Thank you to the grooming staff for re-stocking the wood shed at the frosty Cabin and to the team that replaced the wood stove. Please watch out for changing snow conditions, follow avalanche.ca for updates. Current snow conditions will have some concerning bonds between the layers of new/old and creating some unusual avalanche conditions. Be aware, and ride safe REMINDER - Get you family photos and best stucks submitted to the CSA before the contest deadline is up! CSA, Ladybird -

GOOSE CREEK PARKING UPDATE - Snow has melted off the bottom 1-1.5KM of the trail, we suggest driving up to the switch backs and parking there, decent trail starts between the second and third switch back. To help preserve our snow pack and trail please park there or below. Snow Update - From the parking lot to the alpine we observed an ice layer on the top of the snow pack ranging from 5mm to 10mm thick. It appears the warming cycle during the day is melting and re-freezing every night. Follow avalanche.ca for updates as to expected conditions. If you're out this weekend watch the temperature needle on your machine and watch out for your hyfax, it's going to be a tough go until we get some more fresh on the trails. Be advised, there is plans of us making the connector from Bird to Shaw this weekend, stay tuned! POW Alert!!!
At elevation we are seeing 30-40cm's in spots but depends on the aspect as last night on Ladybird our grooming team observed windy conditions. Be on the lookout for wind loaded slabs. Trails groomed: Ladybird -
